TEMA: RE-ACT

International youth exchange "Re-Act" (Religion + Activity = React!) is a project about inter-religious dialogue, to be more concrete, it will give the participants several opportunities to get familiar with different characteristics, habits, practices etc. and also a chance to debate about the status of religious groups and religion in general in the european society. This unique experience will provide participants and other people involved in the project with a deeper level of knowledge and understanding of the importance of religion in the modern society. Communication during which everybody will contribute his own standing point, enrichened with all the experiences that every individual will achieve during the exchange. Organisers will use non formal education as a mean to ensure objectives of the exchange, among which the most important is to produce better European society.

TEMA: THE PUZZLE

“The turkish proverb which can be translated as one cup of coffee creates friendship for 40 years. That is used to express however insignificant it may seem, a little help would create gratitude in one's heart that would be remembered for long time.”

Thus we have chosen helping people to build friendships as the theme for our project: intercultural dialogue. We will try to apply this proverb's literal and metaphorical meaning to our project. Our main aim is to make an intercultural dialogue by making activities and by helping people to destroy prejudices between cultures and bring respect and appreciation for diversity via knowing each other's culture. Help is a universal value, thus we invite our guests to show their own help compainies to others. We will also use out door activities like cooking Asure and giving it workers and also houses. We wish to weave the different cultural values together to create a whole, show that the harmony is achieved however different we are.

“If we, young people, are going to be European citizens one day, we thought we should know each other's culture and values and find the shared platform, which is the main aim of our project.”
